Despite the name, Harnafel rarely has magical items for sale, although he does buy them, and provides an apprisal service in liason with the Trade Temple.
He does however sell a variety of amulets, charms and love potions. Of more interest, he also sells anti-venoms and various other antidotes. It is also rumoured that he sells blade venom and other poisons for the right price.

Also available to those in the know, Harnafel sells blade venom (actually a plant based poison). This takes affect 1-3 rounds after a successful hit.
